24.04.2024 – SleevesUp! and Work Inn – Two major coworking providers start strategic cooperation
SleevesUp! and Work Inn, two of Germany’s largest coworking providers, are launching a close partnership at the beginning of the summer. From now on, the total of more than 37 locations of both providers will be mutually marketed to users. The aim is to enable customers to access an even wider range of offices and coworking across Germany when making bookings.

The Frankfurt-based provider of managed and shared offices SleevesUp! Spaces is opening its new space in Mannheim city centre at the beginning of December. The company is thus supplementing its Rhine-Neckar cluster with an exclusive city hub to optimally serve the entire demand for new office work environments.

For SleevesUp! Spaces, 2020 was ultimately a successful year despite major setbacks from COVID-19. The shared and managed office provider opened four new locations at the start of 2020 and increased its annual revenue by 150% compared to the previous year.
04.03.2021 – Flex Office provider SleevesUp! Spaces opens new location in Darmstadt, Germany
The Frankfurt-based provider of managed and shared offices SleevesUp! Spaces is adding two more locations to its office and coworking network in 2021. One of them is in the Hessian science city of Darmstadt. The modern workspaces make flexible working more accessible for medium-sized companies.
01.05.2020 – SleevesUp! leases one floor in Bad Homburg to DSK Hyp AG
The Frankfurt-based provider of managed and shared offices SleevesUp! Spaces has won DSK Hyp AG as a tenant in Bad Homburg. The bank, which has its roots in Sweden, will rent an entire floor with around 400sqm of space and 38 desks at the Bad Homburg location from May 2020. The space also includes meeting and conference rooms.
15.03.2020 – SleevesUp! helps teams organize decentrally in Corona crisis
The Frankfurt-based provider of shared and managed office solutions SleevesUp! Spaces is helping companies to organize teams in a decentralized manner during the Corona crisis. To protect against the consequences of team infection, more and more companies are splitting up teams. Team members work in different locations to ensure that a department can operate even if a team member is infected with the Corona virus.
01.01.2020 – Sebastian Fuss becomes new managing director at SleevesUp! Spaces
SleevesUp! Spaces GmbH, the Frankfurt-based provider of shared and managed office solutions founded in 2016, has appointed Sebastian Fuss as its new managing director. The business informatics graduate will henceforth be responsible for project management and the technological development of the company. “Sebastian Fuss complements the management team with a colleague who has been with the company since the end of 2016,” says Dr. Sebastian Schmidt, founder and managing partner of SleevesUp!

Sebastian Schmidt (SleevesUp!): Coworkingbüros haben den Immobilienmarkt gehörig durcheinandergewirbelt. Anbieter wie Wework oder Mindspace gehören mittlerweile zu den größten Mietern von Büroflächen in Frankfurt, die sie anschließend teuer, aber dafür voll eingerichtet, sofort nutzbar und monatlich kündbar an Gründer, Mittelständer und Konzerne untervermieten.
Coworking boomt: Sebastian Schmidt bietet jetzt auch in Dreieich eine flexible Arbeitsheimat
Die Idee ist nicht neu und in Frankfurt und anderen Großstädten in der Republik schon seit einigen Jahren im Trend: sogenannte Co-Working-Spaces. Das sind oft kurzfristig und sehr flexibel anmietbare Arbeitsplätze, bei denen die Mieter sich weder um eine schnelle Internetanbindung, noch um Büroreinigung oder eine funktionierende Kaffeemaschine und Milch im Kühlschrank kümmern müssen. Seit Februar gibt es dieses Angebot auch in Dreieich. Sebastian Schmidt eröffnete seinen elften Standort von Sleeves Up in der Robert-Bosch-Straße 5.
Falls es im Homeoffice zu eng wird
Sicher, das Timing von Sebastian Schmidt hätte besser sein können. Erst Anfang des Jahres hatte der Frankfurter Jungunternehmer ein neues Coworking-Büro in Bad Homburg eröffnet, das mittlerweile elfte unter der Marke Sleeves Up seit der Firmengründung vor vier Jahren. Doch nun weiß seine Zielgruppe – Kleinunternehmen, Agenturen und mittelständische Betriebe – nicht, ob sie sich in der Krise die Miete noch leisten kann.

Von der Ausgeh-App zum CoWorking: SleevesUp! Space bzw. The Office Frankfurt (als Vorgänger) ist aus räumlichen Überkapazitäten des Startups RANX entstanden, das kurzfristig Schreibtische untervermietet hat. RANX gibt es nicht mehr. SleevesUp! dafür allein in Frankfurt mit über 230 Arbeitsplätzen – Schreibtischarbeitsplätzen versteht sich.
